In honor of summer that has hit us HOT here in big D….water kids. Don’t you just love the feeling and memory this evokes?  Love Love!

Here is a photo video I just finished using photos from our recent California trip….it’s a vintage look at the beauty I came across in Carmel and Pebble Beach. Enjoy!

Hey all! I can’t believe it has been almost a year since I posted to my blog…how embarrassing! And I am a Marketing Director that touts technology! LOL! Well the truth is I have been swamped and overwhelmed with work, but Weldon and I took off for 11 days to really VACATE! And we did it along the California Coast. We started at San Diego and landed in San Francisco. Everything in between was nothing less than magical. Here are a few photos I wanted to share with you….

The first photo is from La Jolla. It was a great “town” by the sea. Typical southern CA fashion, cool breeze, warm sun. We loved this place and could have stayed there ….forever! The shoreline was beautiful with rocks and great surf and sand beaches.

This Photo is so cool, the twisted and wrapping of this ages old tree trunk is really a common site in La Jolla….Weldon and I lovingly gave them the phrase throughout our trip as the “ancient” trees…cypress, oaks.

This tree caught my eye with it’s unique “skin”, the variety of color and texture was calling for a photo! This was taken in Venice Beach (too much fun!). More photos on Venice Beach will be coming to my website soon….

And of course my honey couldn’t go to Venice Beach without stopping in and working out at MUSCLE BEACH! Work it Weldon!

And let me end this short blog with a message to all Obama and McCain…simple and to the point: PEACE!

Stay tuned, I will have more photos available to view of our trip as I get them processed!

Love and peace…
Sandy

Well here we are in June, time is flying this year. I have been working pretty non-stop at my new job as Director of Marketing for CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company, the largest C21 Franchise in the world! Since I haven’t had much of a chance to get out and travel and capture new images, I thought I would share a few of my favorites on a theme…the Full Moon.

Did you know that this month is the month of the blue moon for this year? On June 1 we had our first full mooon for the month, on June 30 we will have our second! Whenever a full moon occurs twice in the same month it is called a “Blue Moon”….and it won’t happen for another 2.7 years. So let me start out with a very cool photo I took of the full moon in Aspen…

And in celebration of the fabulous full moon (by the way, Weldon and I got married on the full moon and celebrate every full moon….we are on our 81st!), here are a collection of full moon photos…

And last but not least is a sign I caught one night in Waco at the Full Moon Cafe…with a little art twist! Let me know what you think about the full moon, maybe you will even share a full moon story!

3 months into it

Well, here we are 3 months into 2007, can’t believe it. Spring is officially here, Passover and Easter are this week and I am ready for a vacation! Haven’t been anywhere lately, and nothing in the near future planned, so I thought I would share an inspirational photo to keep us all going until that time comes around!
I remember when my dad use to have one of these and I would ride up in the back “dashboard” on trips to see our family in Dallas. Do you have a memory of travelling with your family in one of these “tubs”?
